About
I’m Luna, the engineer behind Blue Nebula.
Blue Nebula is a one-person web development studio in Daly City, California. I build web apps, SaaS products, Shopify stores and AI features for founders and growing brands.
I started as a front-end developer at Dolls Kill from 2020 to 2022, building pages and checkout features for a busy online store. Then I went independent.
Since July 2024 I’ve led front-end engineering on Grubby AI, an AI writing platform that has grown to 750,000 users. I built Cypress Clothiers’ headless Shopify store, moved Veranasi from WordPress to Shopify, and redesigned Coop De Lavender’s store for the phones most of its customers shop on. In November 2025 I took over One Divine Source, a two-sided marketplace, from the agency that built it, and in 2026 I rebuilt Social Snitch, a prototype made with Replit’s AI agent, as a production subscription app.
Blue Nebula is my studio, and it’s small on purpose. The person on your first call is the person writing your code, and still around when you need the next feature.
I studied at UC Berkeley, and I’m a Gates Millennium Scholar. I work in English and Spanish, from Daly City, just south of San Francisco, with clients across the US.

How I work
- 01
You talk to me
There’s no account manager in between. I write the code, and you talk to me directly.
- 02
A fixed price first
Every project starts with a free estimate and a written, fixed price, so you know the cost before work begins.
- 03
A preview every week
I build in small pieces and send a preview link every week, so you can try each feature as it lands.
- 04
Still here after launch
I stay on for fixes and new features, as needed or on a monthly retainer. Several clients have worked with me for two to three years.
The details for each kind of project are on the services pages.

What clients say
Luna was impressively clear and organized in communicating the amount of work that would be required. With previous contractors, we have felt that the work was a mystery… This was not the case with Luna! We jumped up in google rankings overnight with the new website.
She was able to get up and running in my codebase quickly. With very little visual design from me, she was able to elevate complex sections of my admin system from very basic and raw screens to beautifully designed and usable interfaces.
Luna is an excellent React developer. Luna’s performance is great and the code quality is amazing too. I highly recommend and will hire again in the future.
We hired Nebula to build a chatbot for our website and they delivered beyond our expectations. The project was completed on time.
